The De Havilland DH60M Moth ZK-ACI was c/n 1564 received its UK CofA on 10-09-1930 and was shipped out to arrive in N Z on 07-11-1930.
It appears to have been a Government loan aircraft to the Otago Aero Club and was granted its NZ CofA on 10-09-1931 and a certificate of Registration on 07-10-1931.
It was destroyed when it spun in at Wyllies Crossing, just a few clicks to the Northwest of Taieri Airfield, on 25-03-1937.
The large building in the background is still in use today.
