The flying display at Matamata opened with slow flying by locally based Slepcev Storch UL ZK-STO . It was one of the military painted homebuilts (along with Isaacs Fury ZK-DMN).

It demonstrated a very short take off roll and steep climb out.
Then a slow and short landing.
