The Northern Aviators Club held their 2020 Christmas BBQ flyin at Tim Harrison's hangar at Kaipara Flats last Saturday. One of the highlights was the arrival of three Searey amphibians, all based at North Shore, which came via the Omaha Estuary:
First in was Rodger Coleclough in ZK-SRY,
Followed by Barbara Thomson in ZK-SWM,
Then Craig Vickery in ZK-FSH2.
And here is why Seareys are so popular in this area with all that lovely coastline.
