Surely a highlight of the SAANZ Flyin at Ashburton over the Waitangi Day weekend was the appearance of three Jodel D 9 Bebes on the airfield (two on the Saturday and three on the Sunday). I am fortunate in that several of the photographers who were there have sent photos:
On the Sunday the three D 9s flew a couple of formation circuits over the aerodrome.
Dave Kenny took these photos of Ross Brodie in ZK-CTW from his own ZK-FRK. He told me that he couldn't get a photo of Evan Belworthy in ZK-CVN off his Starboard wing because it was a bit bumpy.
