Amongst the visitors to the Pauanui airfield this week was the Vans RV7 ZK-JPT3 down from Ardmore. This was imported from South Africa in 2021 and registered in July.
The New Plymouth based Flight Tech Pilot Training fleet made a scheduled trip to Pauanui today and these comprise the former Mountain Air Cessna 172M ZK-EKP, still retaining its colours. EKP was imported new back in 1977.
And the former L3 Alpha R2160 ZK-VCE, built in 2010, and acquired by Flight Tech in May 2021.
Also visiting from New Plymouth was PA32-300 Cherokee Six ZK-PDX. This was originally imported from the US in 1970 as ZK-DBC, moving onto PDX in 1999.
