The Hairy Mole Rat was down at Carterton last week for the Balloons Over Wairarapa balloon festival and after some delays the balloons got into the air in a lovely blue sky. As balloons are ZK registered they are part of New Zealand civil aviation but we don't often feature them on the NZ Civair blog. One balloon was a different and I didn't know there were single pilot balloons, but here is one:
